This is an introduction to Google Map Layers. You will learn how to use multiple layers on a Google map and integrate it into your classroom as a teaching tool, assignment, or even as a study guide for students. This is something students can carry with them beyond your classroom. Not just for History teachers. ELAR? Have students create a Google map to get a better perspective and understanding on the setting of a book they are reading. If time permits, we will briefly hit on Google Sites. This is an easy way to create your very own website. I had my students do it as a final project!
